Transition Student Symposium

The University of Arizona Disability Cultural Center (DCC) is excited to announce our first annual Student Symposium. The only one of its kind, this symposium is designed to support students and families with the transition from high school to college. Staff at the DCC, disabled students themselves, saw the lack of a bridge between life in high school and “entitlement” supports and services and the kinds of services available in college. The DCC hopes this symposium will begin to bridge that gap and help incoming students feel confident and prepared for their transition to college.
