The Disability Cultural Center often gets requests to provide trainings and presentations to departments, organizations, and schools in and outside of Arizona due to the nature of our work in discussing ableism, accessibility, disability justice, and disability identity. The DCC offers an Ableism 101 series every semester that provides comprehensive introductory knowledge of ableism and disability. While we highly encourage you to attend these sessions when offered, we understand that often-times groups would like information and activities that are catered more to the work you do. While we are happy to provide trainings and presentations, please keep in mind that we are a small team and we may not have capacity to fulfill all requests. Please fill out the form linked below to request a training or presentation and we will do our best to meet your request. We ask that you submit a request at least 1 month prior to when you plan to have us present. All sessions are currently offered remotely on Zoom unless you are located in Pima County or Maricopa County.
