Interested in Disability Cultural Centers and learning about how to create them on your campus? Engage with disability cultural practitioners, staff, and scholars at the DCC Symposium!

 

Registration is now open for the Symposium on Disability Cultural Centers in Higher Education ("DCC Symposium"). This conference will be hosted by the Disability Cultural Center at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and conducted virtually via the Zoom platform from Friday, July 8 - Saturday, July 9, 2022. There are no costs associated with the event. Upon filling out the registration form, you will be added to our mailing list. Please fill out the registration form (linked below).

We will be bringing together disability cultural practitioners and scholars from the majority of U.S. DCCs to knowledge-share and empower students, faculty, staff, and administrators to develop DCCs within higher education. Our event schedule will be released in June 2022. Events include Histories of DCCs, Designing a DCC, Programs: Successes and Learning Curves, Envisioning a Culture of Accessibility on Campus, and more.
