Reading Groups Have Returned!

Flyer for DCC Book Club for Spring 2023

When

Noon – 1 p.m., Feb. 27 – April 24, 2023

We are returning once again this semester with our monthly reading groups! They will be held online via Zoom and in-person at the Disability Cultural Center. 


The books we will be reading this semester are:

  • The Pretty One by Keah Brown – Monday February 27th from 12 – 1pm AZ time
  • Demystifying Disability by Emily Ladau – Tuesday March 28th from 12 – 1pm AZ Time
  • Year of the Tiger by Alice Wong – Monday April 24th from 12 – 1pm AZ Time


How to participate:

Determine how you would like to read the books: 
a) check out a physical copy from the DCC 
b) read the digital PDF/txt version sent to you 
c) purchase the book for yourself
Join us on Zoom or in-person! This is meant to serve as a general and informal discussion so please feel free to read as much or as little as you'd like.

Access Information: We have 3 physical copies of each book that can be checked out from the DCC & digital copies of each book that we will email to those who sign up. Contact us at
 disabilityculture@arizona.edu ASAP to request CART, ASL interpreting, or for additional access needs

This reading group is free and open to the public, please share this with friends and colleagues who may also be interested.
